Elephant Poaching by Khloie Tolvier

Elephants are killed Each year and poached, and left in africa to bleed out, and die for there ivory tusk which is for items that us humans don't really need, such as jewelry piano keys etc. Over ten thousand elephants die a year do to just poaching imagine how many elephants die a year without the poaching and just natural causes over an 100 so we are just increasing the number.

  4. I think that we should take this issue more seriously, Ivory is valuable but so are elephants. We should make sure that instead of taking ivory from living animals we can take it maybe after they pass away or we can just use synthetic materials. Lilly Pearson

  8. One that that I did not know before is that often ivory from elephants tusks is in many materials that people use. These include piano keys, and even helmets. If we could eliminate ivory from these items this could help reduce the need for tusks.- Fagan O'Connor
