Photosynthesis? There’s a hack for that.  by Maria Misner






Researchers have found a way to tweak photosynthesis in order to make certain plants grow faster. These researchers have experimented on tobacco to find this new hack, and in these tests genetically modified tobacco increased its growth by 40%. These researchers will also experiment with other plants to see if this photorespiration fix will give other plants the same benefits as it does for tobacco.

    This is a cool thing but marijuana is a drug again and how its going to affect the plants i dont know. But this could bring the world to a new stage.

    i think it could affect plants negatively because its changing the plant and it can not go back to its natural state.

    Photosynthesis is a process where plants make their own food using the sun, if we can speed up that process there is endless opportunities and discoveries to be made

    I think messing with the natural food production for plants is a bad idea. I dont want to eat food that was hacked out of its natural system. -Calvin
