NASA Trying to Put First Woman on the Moon

On January 8th the 27ft wide 212ft long rocket made way to row up the Mississippi River, a 40 mile trip from its start location of New Orleans to near Bay Saint Louis. The rocket then will be headed to Mississippi for its final testing to be ready for the predicted launch to the Moon by 2024, except this time with a man and a woman. Along with the Moon NASA is hoping it will be able to reach Mars, along with more space exploration. Arimus 1 is expected to launch in November 2020 with no passengers, Arimus 2 will launch with astronauts, and finally, Arimus 3 with launch with the next man and first woman to walk the moon.

  1. I think its a huge step for space for exploration because we have never had a women on any other plant besides earth and I think it will give us another look on how humans see things in space.

  5. Women all over the planet should be very proud of whoever that lady astronaut is because she is heavily changing views on women and showing that women can do a job that the field is mostly male dominated in

  6. This will lead the way for more women to become astronauts or do other things involved in space travel. As a result of this more women will be put into leadership roles because they are able to do the same jobs that have thought as primarily male jobs in the past.

It's always good when women are doing things that aren't common. It will hopefully inspire a lot of young girls to do the same.

  10. I definitely think that having more representation is very important and could impact future generations, and the ability for a person to see that what they want is possible to achieve is very important for their motivation to do so.

  11. I think this is a good step for NASA and all of space exploration because it shows how men and woman are on the same playing field and that is a big step for mankind, although that some things men can do better like physical work but there is also work that woman can do that men cant do because they have advantages, so this is good because if everyone works together we can acomplish more.

  12. It will give us new information about space, for women it will be a huge impact because it will be the first woman on the moon. Women will be involved in physically going up to space with the men and getting the same opportunities.

This will impact future women in science because it will inspire other women to want to go to the moon, especially if she makes it there. There will be more women who are interested in going to the moon, making it to be more astronauts which is a good things because some people thing women aren't capable of doing this sense it hasn't happened before.

I think this is a huge step for equality in the workplace, especially science. Science has always been a male dominated field and this is a huge step in the right direction.
