Summary

The mosquito borne virus. Andes mosquitoes usually bite during the day. They can transmitted mother to fetus during pregnancy. The symptoms of the zika virus causes fever, rash pink eye muscle and joint pain, tiredness, headache. Some people don’t have any symptoms. After the mosquito bite you, you notice symptoms after 3-14 days. The problems worse in countries near the equator. You prevent zika put screens on windows and use mosquito repellant to protect the mosquito bite you. There are no vaccine.

  7. In my opinion mosquito are useless and a hazard to the humans. I heard environmental scientists/ geneticists were genetically modifying mosquitos to kill off the modified ones partners.

  13. Mosquitoes carry so many diseases and I feel as if each day people are finding another deadly disease associated with these insects. I wonder if there will ever be a cure for these viruses.

  15. Mosquitoes in my opinion is one of the most effective ways to spread viruses because they are almost everywhere and there are so many. Plus once a person gets exposed if they go to a place where there is less mosquitos they can spread the virus to that area. _Tamara Harmon

  18. We need better bug sprays that don't cause harm themselves. It's hard to know what to do to keep from getting bit.
