The amazon rainforest is burning. Itś burning for 2 reasons. One is the dry season. Also, there are people setting the fires. They are setting fires to clear thees. When they burn the forests it kills animals and forces animals and people to move. When we burn the forest, it makes pollution worse because the trees help stop global warming. The trees eat carbon dioxide which is bad pollution. We need trees.

Why are they burning the forest?

How can we stop this problem?

Is burning the forest a good thing for the eco - system in the long term?

  9. How we can stop this problem is by putting more legal protection on the Amazon Rainforest. The government is clearing the forest for economy purposes and to raise cattle, but more protection should be placed because the Amazon Rainforest does provide so much oxygen. -Tori Favazza

I didn't know that the forest had been burning continuously and that it happened multiple times. I would think more people would care if this had been an ongoing thing.

  13. This is really sad to hear about because so many animals are losing homes and even dying. This is bad for the world and ecosystem because we need trees and animals and insects and because of this fire we are losing so many.

  18. There maybe may benefits for the U.S.A but with high price like killing of many unknown species of animals but not only that but the amazon is the most high point of oxygen production on Earth.

  19. I think they could cut down trees instead of burning but that would make the animals leave, too. But it wouldn't cause as much pollution.
