8 New Sea Creatures Discovered in Costa Rica









Scientists in Costa Rica discovered four new coral species and eight amazing sea creatures. They are studying and recording what they eat, how they function, and where they fit on the food chain. More than eighty percentage of our ocean is undiscovered and has never been touched. Creatures like this are being discovered all the time because our oceans are so big.

    We have only explored a small percent of the ocean and discovered a even smaller percent of the creatures of the sea. We are bound to discover more creatures. -Liam H

    i think in the future when we have more advanced technology we will end up finding a whole lot of species and different creatures we never would of thought existed. - lexi

    I think we should do more to find new species underwater. Id guess that weve only discovered a fraction of the life underwater- patrick

    I still think there are millions more sea creatures we haven't discovered because of how little we have discover about the depths of the ocean.

    We have not been to parts of the ocean, so we need to keep an open mind about what could be out there, and protect them.

    I believe there is many undiscovered species in between the trenches and in the deepest parts of the ocean.
