The Endangered Species Act was there to protect endangered animals. With this being taken away will mean all of the animals here will have a harder time in their habit to stay alive. The top 10 species being focused on are the bald eagle(70k), american alligator(5mil), grizzly bear(~40k), American peregrine falcon(3k), southern sea otter(2.8k), humpback whale(33k), great sea turtle(200k), gray wolf(17k), florida manatee(6.3k) and the California Condor(~300)

Why would alligators but considered endangered with such a high population?
What does this have to do with people?
If you had to save only one of these species which would it be?
We should push to save all endangered animals. If they go extinct, biodiversity will decrease and all other animals dependent on the species will have to re-adapt. The government should play a role in protecting endangered animals since it should be their responsibility to protect our lands.

ReplyDeleteWe all should as a whole come together and still help those animals who are gonna need more help surviving survive even with the act being taken away -ty
ReplyDeletewhat does Trump gain from taking away the protection of endangered animals all the animals that are becoming extinct should be protected to try and increase the population
ReplyDeletewe should do what we can to save theses animals even if other people wont
ReplyDeleteWe should be trying to protect instead of lifting laws to kill them. We will soon run out and have no food resource

trump is just doing whatever it takes to make people mad -moe
ReplyDeleteIt is very concerning to hear that this act may be lifted. It is protecting so many animals, and I feel that many fear that the removal of this act may cause an even higher rise in the extinction of animals.

i feel we should start protecting animals more-christa
ReplyDeleteGetting rid of this act would cause even more problems with extinction instead of keeping these animals safe
ReplyDeleteHow is our president letting this happen? is the population high enough for these animals to survive unprotected by law?
ReplyDeletewhat can we do to save these animals?
